About Me
My name is Jennifer Kunc and I am a student and employee at Virginia Commonwealth University. I began my journey at VCU back in the Spring of 2004 and quickly grew to love everything the school had to offer. I received my BS in Mass Communications/Public Relations in May 2007 and jumped right into the Adult Learning program that following Fall. The Adult Learning, human resource development track is a perfect program for me and is opening my eyes to what I want as a future career.
My ulitmate goal is to one day work in a university setting doing either student advising, program and planning, or academic affairs. The rush and excitement of being on a campus is where I will (hopefully) one day end up.
On top of getting my degree, I work full-time at the VCU School of Dentistry in the Philips Institute. I assist the doctors and students in the four labs and help them in their day-to-day needs. Not only is this a great learning opportunity and gives me experience working with adults, but it’s also nice working for the university and having the flexibility and understanding about being in school. (They also pay for it!!)
I enjoy working out, being with family and friends, the outdoors, my dogs and cat, traveling and much more. Since I have limited free time these days I take advantage of the little things I can do to get my mind off of school and work.
